Umm I travel a ton, and did back in the 2016-2020 years, and while I got a few questions especially around 2016/2017, it was never more than curiosity. This can’t be real?

I was just in Ireland and Northern Ireland last week--on election day and the days following it.

No one attacked me for being American. It's fine.

I went to school overseas during the height of the Iraq War.

There were anti-Bush posters everywhere on campus, but no one hassled me personally.
