Is there anyway you can do some light catering/platters at your place? Asking small children to hold it together at a funeral and then at a nicer restaurant is a lot to ask and really unfair to the kids.

I just recommended this on another thread about Thanksgiving, but Clyde’s Tower Oak Lodge in Rockville is good. Lots of things for the kids to look at on the walls.

Moderately priced and kid friendly doesn’t really go with “formal.” Maybe Cheesecake Factory- it’s not formal but I suppose it’s a little more formal than Silver Diner which is what I was also going to suggest.

Looking for something a little more formal than Silver Diner but that's a great idea for a different day. Ty!

Family in town for a funeral and we are trying to figure out where to go afterwards. Can be in DC, Chevy Chase, Bethesda, Rockville. Any recommendations? We have quite a few kids under 10.
