Call your local parking enforcement. Send a photo and description of the vehicle. They'll ticket.

People who store vehicles on the street, especially poorly/inconsiderately parked ones, are selfish jerks and deserve to be ticketed.

I’m surprised the police are not ticketing the cars with expired registrations. On my street, my neighbors forgot about the registration for their second car, which they normally park on the street. It expired on the 31st of July. By 9 am the next morning, they already had a ticket!

Problem is parking is really tight on my street—something this guy actually complained to me about. There is plenty of parking near his home, so I have no idea why he insists on keeping cars in two locations.

This is in Arlington. Is there any way to report vehicles with expired or missing front tags? I know you can report abandoned cars or car tax violators but I’m not sure either applies here.

I suspect I live on his street. Or at least we also have this same issue with a guy. We all hate it. Someone (not me) called code enforcement a few months ago and the cars on our street reduced in number, but they’ve crept back since then. Call code enforcement and explain the situation but give them his actual address. They know this is a long running issue. He’s running an autobody shop out of the garage and clogs the street with his trailers and junk cars.

Does he have several camping tents in his yard? Then yes, that’s him. The county previously towed one of his trailers from my street because it was missing plates. But I saw it pop back up near his house a few weeks later.
