Yes, this is important- Triple A does not cover the car, it covers the person whose name is on the card. I paid for memberships for my kids as soon as they were at an age where they might be in cars with other people. That way, if something had happened, they could call for help even if they didn’t own the car.
Not true. If someone is driving your car and needs roadside assistance, YOU can call and have it serviced. I've done this for my nanny driving our car and having a flat or dead battery. We keep a copy of our card with the registration and insurance.
