Subject: Does ground turkey chili taste different than ground beef chili?
Ground chicken has a consistency more similar to beef if the softer turkey texture bothers you.
I’m allergic to mammal so we do everything poultry, but spouse and kids willingly go along with it in everything except burgers.

Agreed. I usually add more spices when using turkey. That said, it's not so much of a difference that anyone would complain

It tastes and smells very different. We aren’t turkey fans in general and neither DH nor the kids will eat ground Turkey in any recipe.

Turkey is (no surprise) drier than beef, so I think turkey chili lends itself well to a more southwest chili style, like deer valley chili, with masa. It’s lighter and really delicious!
I use the premade mix, but you can make your own as well
