Dating in general, at any age, has its challenges. You have to pick your hard. Be single and deal with that or try dating at 40, go through some bumps (maybe) and potentially meet an amazing person.

You can date with a lot less pressure in your 40's. No one is expecting you to get married right away. You can date that cute girl in her 20's at the gym, or meet a nice woman in her 50's at church. If you want to have kids, you can date younger. If you don't want to have kids, but don't mind parenting, there are plenty of 35+ single moms. There's also widows and divorcees in their 50's with grown children, if you don't want to parent.

Better than ever as you have about a 15 year range on either side, more at the top.

The older you get, the better men have it than women.

I am 47. Men 28-65 want to date me. It is much easier. I have many more options than I did due to apps. However, most men are not worth it. I look much younger so that helps. If you look 40s, I don’t know. I get mistaken for early 30s.

in my 20s and 30s, my peers want to date me. In my 40s, 60 year old want to date me. Also I don't have time for BS like I did in my 20s. I'm a grown woman.
