Everything he says, he says defiantly.

But who would apply to Education knowing Trump wants to dismantle the agency?

I just reviewed about 40 of their resumes and made phone calls to all of them. About 1/3 dropped, most because they’d already been hired elsewhere as Feds. Another 1/3 booked interviews on under 72 hrs’ notice. 1/3 we don’t know yet.

We are hiring for a position right now in my office, and it’s one that has been slated for elimination. I wonder if anyone is going to accept our offer.

Don’t comply in advance! If they give up, it will be easier to justify eliminating them.

Even if he accomplished that it could take years. Maybe someone just wants to get their foot in the door.

Besides, jobs advertised now were authorized months ago and it takes that long just to get the position onto USA jobs.

Because there is no hiring freeze, obviously. One may come, or select positions may be eliminated, either directly or through attrition, but only time will tell. Meanwhile, positions which are funded are going to be filled.

You do know it's not after Jan 20th right? Or does posting from Russia affect what you know about US elections?
