I’m a Trump voter, so I was obviously hoping she wouldn’t win…BUT… if the Kamala that gave the concession speech on Wednesday would’ve been the Kamala on the campaign trail, she’d have beaten Trump easily.

Why her advisors insisted on limiting her exposure and keeping her away from cameras like they did except for a few curated (and disastrous) appearances, I’ll never understand.

Because Wednesday Kamala was a refreshing change. She was carefree. Stress free. She didn’t speak haltingly, walking on eggshells. That Kamala would’ve won.

I’m glad she listened to her advisors. But I’m also sad for her, that we didn’t see her “real” self, until Wednesday.

Such is life.

I live in Chicago and I was quite sure she would "win" but not necessarily legitimately.

I was worried she had a chance.

I did...because I live in the DC bubble where people think January 6 actually mattered. Sad!

No, I was hoping, but had a sinking feeling that swing voters were not going to vote for a woman.

All my female friends from the south (like me) had the same feeling we were screwed.
