My DD’s intensified geometry teacher got that class down to 24 students. She stressed at the beginning of the class to make sure you are in the right class. After a number of kids bombed the first couple quizzes and test, the class size went down.

But I worry that meant some non intensified geometry class now has well over 30.

My kid (senior) has had a great run at W-L in the IB program. I never focused on class size bc kid was thriving. Even outside IB, in math classes like int alg 2 with trig and DE precalc, teachers were great. Some had creative systems with kids working in groups and signaling when they were stuck so they could get some help. My kid also wasn’t shy about going to visit teachers during Generals period when they got lost, fell behind etc.

I think they mean "entitled" as in legally obligated to receive specified services.

I respectfully disagree. My daughter’s intensified English teacher was incredibly helpful last year. I couldn’t believe how much her writing improved.

There is no “freshman algebra 2” it’s algebra 2 with mixed grades you could have freshman sophomores or juniors. Agree, 25 to 30 kids is what we have experienced.

My kid is at Wakefield, but his classes have around 20-30 kids. I think 30 is pretty standard.
