Which office? For example, I would say that National Courts, which defends Government contracts litigation, will see little effect. Civil right, probably a significant effect.

Did the attorneys leave and the jobs were not back filled?

I know a few people who left DOJ but it was because they did not like the return to office requirements of their specific components. They left for jobs with more flexibility

The PP said other than education - and where are the states getting the money to find whatever activity you want to stop having the federal govt do? I’m not saying there’s not waste. Of course there is - but coming in with a wrecking ball is not the way to address.
