This is why Trump won. He will cut through the woke nonsense and if someone commits a violent crime even if they are “youth(up to age 25) as the progressive city council has placed into law, they should know swift punishment is in order!

Actually, it's quite true. In 2017, DC had 116 homicides. In 2020, even though most of us spent the year cooped up in our homes, the number of homicides in DC had risen to 195, a 68 percent increase from the year of Trump's first full term.

Motor vehicle theft in DC also rose by about 50 percent during Trump's first term.

Maybe Trump will appoint a USAO that is tougher on crime. But DC still has a big problem with its judges and case law that makes it harder to prosecute crimes here. That is much harder to change.
