This.
Dc has had grades in 4 classes drop during the end of last week because lazy teachers held on to assignments and then dropped them in the grade book with zero feedback.
Too late to resubmit anything, not that anyone would know what CAN be resubmitted since there's no longer any (R)s next to the assignments that can be retsken.
If this was a corporation it would be out of business.

Feel free to write your local representatives on how obnoxious it is that your needs aren’t being prioritized. Let us know how it works out. M Kay?

As a parent, this seems like a good teaching moment about the importance of each assignment. She can still get an A during the second quarter and this B will be erased. In fact, it will keep her more motivated.
I disagree. Kids will sometimes have 20 homework assignments due in a week and if they’ve been out sick, trying to make up all of them while they keep up with current assignments might not be the best use of their time. I think it’s unfair for a teacher to change the nature of the assignment in this way.
Or, a lot of teachers don't grade and wait till the 9th hour and just do the absolute minimum.
