It’s amazing how quickly lessons go when it’s 1-on-1 or 1-on-2.
You think kids who go to school are actually doing 6-7 hours of real instruction?
Getting everyone settled, lining up for bathroom breaks, waiting for disruptive students to stop whatever they’re doing, and the biggest one — gathering in small groups to color (or scroll on the iPad) while you wait for the teacher to get to your small group…
Public school students would be lucky to get two hours of focused, direct instruction.
OK, but you can't do two hours of focused, direct instruction, for two children, in a single two hour block. They're going to need a break in there, they need to do some work on their own, etc.

A former teacher to teach my 2 elementary aged children for 2 hours per day, a full curriculum.
That’s illegal in some states. If you homeschool, the parent is supposed to do the teaching (or at least most of it). Otherwise they have to go to school.
