Applications don’t go under review until all materials are received so you’re all set. Just need to wait.

Also, should they decide to call (I agree they shouldn't) OP needs to have their kid call. AOs will note if a parent calls in. They don't want helicopter moms and students who can't make a simple inquiry call

It’s a fair point, but is it realistic to think that, with all the applications, something like that would factor into an admissions decision?

We are at about 4 weeks for Pitt too.

Here are some schools that I know have already given rolling decisions based on DC and their friends: Kentucky, Auburn, LSU, Pitt, West Virginia.....didn't take long, all heard back within a week or two.

I don’t think it’s unusual. They’ll get to it. For Pitt answer, we’re still waiting as well.

Lots...

Note: Penn State isn't rolling in the same way others are rolling. It's only rolling after the EA deadline.

Does your portal not list the materials and whether they’ve been received?

Whatever you do don’t call them. Rolling admission can mean whatever a school wants it to mean and in no way does it mean you demand a decision after less than a month.

How long this will take varies widely among schools with rolling admission.

4 weeks doesn’t seem unreasonable. Rolling doesn’t mean immediate response. You will likely hear anytime in the next few weeks - still before EA decisions and certainly before regular admissions decisions.

My DD submitted apps through the common app for rolling admissions 4 weeks ago and still hasn’t heard back. The portals say ‘under review.’ We’ll call Monday, but is anyone else having the same experience? We were hoping for an acceptance somewhere before the EA and regular decisions came in.
