Here are the sample paths they gave for kids who take Geometry as an 8th grader and Algebra 2 as a 9th grader:
Algebra 2 HN > IB Analysis > IB Analysis HL2 > MultiVar/Matrix
Algebra 2 HN > PreCalc > IB Analysis 1 > IB Analysis HL
Algebra 2 HN> IB Apps or Analysis > IB Apps or Analysis SL > AP Statistics
Algebra 2 HN> PreCalc > Engineering Math > AP Statistics
I have a Senior going for full IB at South Lakes -- the first one on the list is what he has done. MultiVar is a DE class thru George Mason - you have to 'apply' and pay for the course thru GMU if you want to get the credit.
Does south lakes have a review class or is it just kid reviewing on own if done with IB math as junior?
I don’t think that’s an option to be “done” with math if you were doing the IB diploma. I’m not even sure it’s an option to be done w math in any case?

Do they go to GMU for the class or is class at HS? Is it online? At night? Does your senior feel that is what most did that were in same position of having taken Geometry in 8th? And last one, is senior finding it comparable to other math classes or harder or easier? Thanks,
