This very much has to do with you if your children go to this school.

I care about the details. I care about kids fighting at school, kids getting hurt, and even worse outcomes. (As you may recall from the stabbing.)

I also care about the kids who are just trying to go to school and shouldn’t have to witness this cr@p all the time.

Your kids didn’t witness it if you don’t even know one single detail of one happened.

It also probably sounds more dramatic than it is. A kid was transported by ambulance from my school once after a fight but it’s because the fight was in the bathroom and he fell and hit his head on the sink. His injury wasn’t from some dastardly knife fight that nearly took his life.

What is wrong with you?

What’s wrong with me? Nothing, I’m not the busy body trying to find info about a kid I don’t even know who was in a fight. Why do you guys think you’re owed info about kids’ lives that have nothing to do with you?

NP but it does have something to do with you if your kid goes to that school.

If your kids are on the Yale side of the Yale or jail equation, it's easy to avoid

Why would a parent of a child attending a school that had a fight so violent that it required EMS to be summoned want to know more information? That's your question?

You are a moron.

I have more:

Were these boys, girls or mixed? If there’s a girl fight problem, in particular, I definitely want to address this with my daughters.

Was there any racial or hate-type component?

Is anything going to happen as a result, or will those kids be back in school tomorrow? Assuming everyone has been released from the hospital.

Well, I’m not the original poster, but I can think of lots of questions somebody might have. For example,

Where in the building or outside of the building did this take place? When? (That would help me know whether my kids saw it.)
Were the students involved tied to rival gangs or was it a more run of the mill dispute?
How many kids were involved?
Were any bystanders or staff members injured?

I haven’t seen that blurb. Thanks for posting, and could you please copy the blurb here?
