I like their house brands for certain items:
Dried fruit like cherries
Frozen fruit like mango
Popsicles
Canned tuna
Chocolate baking chips
Organic potato chips
Eggs
Chantilly berry cake
Asiago cheddar cheese crackers
Olives
Roast chicken breast and sliced cheeses at deli

Also produce section is excellent, and their butcher is high quality. I also like buying their crab cakes.

Nothing. It sucks since Amazon bought it. Poor quality.

Every week: all produce and meats and sourdough bread from the bakery and cheese.
I stick to the exterior (rarely go down the aisles), but the quality of the realt "whole foods" is way better than any other store, and it's not very exotic you don't buy packaged foods.

Every once in a while, on their olive bar they have these marinated chick peas that are super delicious that I eat throughout the week.

The one near me has a good selection of cheeses, olives, salamis, etc. so I get party food from there. Their sushi is also decent. Bakery items are better quality than most chain grocery stores, but not as good as stand-alone bakeries, and there are several nearby.

I used to enjoy the hotbar, but the quality has dipped and the prices are much higher. Same with their ready-made foods, which used to be a nice way to have a healthyish, quick dinner without blowing the budget on takeout.

Honestly, there's not much there that you can't find elsewhere. Since it's a Bezos product now, I'm more reluctant to hand over my money.

It's jokingly called "whole paycheck" for a reason. Used to be that the quality justified the expense, but I don't feel that way anymore.

Produce is good. Bakery is pretty decent. Their pizzas are really good and really well priced. The sushi is pretty good. Check out their ongoing weekly sales for good and easy to go dinner options.

Our chef orders a lot of ingredients from whole foods. Says the produce is better than most supermarkets in the area.

I regularly buy the 6 pack of frozen salmon fillets. I find the quality much better than those sold at other stores. They are individually vacuum packed so easy to defrost as needed.

My husband prefers their in house low salt roast turkey to Balduccis turkey. We buy fish there. Meat and chicken sometimes.

The quality at WF is much better than elsewhere, and I appreciate that they filter out artificial ingredients and preservatives. If you're on a low-fat, low-salt or gluten-free or other special diet, you still need to look at ingredients, but it does make life easier not to have to weed through 90% of the crap other supermarkets sell.

I don't think they weed out as well as Mom's, at least not since WF was bought by Amazon.

So I'd rather shop at Mom's but will buy almost anything at Whole Foods, including personal care items (haircare, deodorant, makeup, lotions, sunscreen etc.)

We just bought a house near a WF, so it's probably going to be our grocery go-to moving forward. Just curious if outside of the basics, are there are any items that sort of draw you into shopping at Whole Foods, like how Traders Joes has fanatics who religiously buy certain TJ items? Thanks!
