Excellent choice, if you want a church filled with hate and prejudice.

Check out The Falls Church Episcopal instead.

A church that disagrees with you on theology is not automatically hateful and prejudiced. You've clearly never been there nor listened to any of the messages.

You clearly want to avoid admitting to what the “disagreement” is.

The Falls Church Anglican left the Episcopal church when a gay priest was made a bishop. There was ensuing litigation over possession of the historic Falls Church property that they lost. And rightfully so. Anyone can Google this. If you want your kids to go to a church that practices homophobia—which is hate—by all means send them to The Falls Church Anglican.

Ah, yes, I remember that, now. I'd say pp was trying to cover that up, but I also think the general attitude of the church would be obvious to anyone attending. So it might have been a ploy to get someone to attend a service, but that person would quickly figure out what kind of church it was.

+10

If you are +10 to this, you are either A) ignorant of the very public battle over The Falls Church and how it arose out of homophobia, or B) hateful yourself.

That's true, but OP should consider that churches that call themselves "Anglican" rather than "Episcopalian" are usually more conservative than Episcopal churches, though the ceremony is the same.

No argument to this, but OP didn't specify what level of theological conservatism they are looking for. There's literally every option you could want in northern Virginia across the theological spectrum.

St. Ann’s in Arlington has an active teen youth group. They have meetings Sunday and Monday evenings to accommodate schedules.

The youth director is so positive and has great energy, the kids really like him.
