No. Only in your election precinct. It’s on your voter registration card.
In Virginia, for
early, in-person voting, you can go to any location opened/designated by your jurisdiction (usually your city or county). On Election Day itself, most places I’m familiar with require you to vote in-person at your specific precinct, which the PP correctly states is on your voter registration card.
For example, here are the times and locations for
Fairfax County.
Why? Because most localities require paper ballots, including all of
Virginia, and having all the possible iterations at every possible location just isn’t in the works at the moment. Printing a ballot on-demand could solve that but allowing that introduces a whole other set of security issues and Registrars already have enough to deal with.
The thread title seems to suggest you want to vote early but your OP speaks of being away for “the day.” If you’re going to be away at your MIL on Election Day, you should vote early at a location designated by your local government (usually their headquarters or a library).
