Got it. Do you know if kids typically live on-campus after sophomore year?


I don't think it's common, but it's is an option if there is space. Priority is given to freshmen and sophomores for at least this year and last year. If a student lives on campus for both freshman and sophomores years, they will be given priority as juniors to live in the on campus apartments that are run by a private company. They are cheaper than the surrounding off campus apartments and include utilities and UMD wifi.

Curious how the accurate the COA on the website is? It looks like on campus housing and food is listed at $15k annually. Curious if that is what people are seeing in practice? I have heard for some other schools that the housing estimate on the website is understated due to housing shortages. TIA.
