Is this another one of those Peter Attia cult things?

First day I had horrible diarrhea. The second day I was nauseous and vomited. I stopped taking it.

Didn’t do anything.

It made me 💩

It reduced my A1C significantly.

I'm not sure why others are taking it but I fiddle a lot with supplements and drop them unless my data tracking supports them. I've stayed on berberine because it lowers my systolic by 14 points on average. I take Thorne 1000 mg.

Op- were you taking it for SIBO? Or what?

Disappointed to read it does nothing since there seems to be scientific data supporting its efficacy. Had it on my list to try, but guess I won't bother.

I've been using it for a while now. I don't really see any results from it. I use Thorne product which is supposed to be a good brand but I think the breakdown in the GI tract makes it lose its efficacy.

If you tried berberine what was your experience?
