+1 on privates/LACs. The big state Us are generally all first year only. But you can look into options to stay on campus longer. For example, at VT, you can apply to live in the "Residential College" LLC and that is a 2-year commitment.

Would love feedback. I would rather look at schools that mandate dorms for at least two years. Seems a lot of schools just have one and then you are on your own. I think my DC would benefit from a few years dorms. DC agrees. TIA
