Y'all are neurotic. Nothing on this list is the sort of thing that needs to be hidden from children. Your snacks sound tasty, and I'm sorry you have some weird wiring that makes you feel guilty for eating food.

They are growing and developing lifetime eating habits, so for meals (not treats/special occasions), I serve them nutritious food.

Just cheese. A hunk of it. If we have apples then with an apple or two. Otherwise just a big ol chunk of cheese with a drooling lab at my feet.
