It's not ridiculous if they follow the local public school calendar, which many do because the staff have kids in public schools.

Some will be closed because of staffing issues, especially part day preschools which often design their schedules to appeal to moms.

Some will be closed because they are in buildings that are polling places. Churches, recreation centers, public schools etc . . .

Is anyone's daycare or preschool closed on Election Day? I know some of the school districts are closed on 11/5.
