You don’t need to cover the whole car - just throw a sheet or beach towel or moving blanket across the windshield. The frost will not form underneath.

Seems like a lot of trouble when a snow brush scraper tool will do the job. Remind him to remove the snow off the roof of the car because it’s the law (in most places). Safety first.

I usually just spray the windshield with the washer fluid a few times and use the wipers to scrape the frost. Takes 10 seconds.

I think after you put a car cover on the first time, you’ll understand why no one goes to this level of trouble every day to avoid frost on the windows.

I'd think a car cover would be more trouble than defrosting/scraping windows. What do you do with the car cover when you remove it? If it snowed, it'll be covered in snow like the windows.

DC has been driving to school this year and winter will soon be here with wet/icy windows. Do car covers help with keeping the moisture off the windows so they won't have to run the car for 10 minutes each morning before leaving? is there a better product to help with this?
