Are you on the GLT page on FB? There's a woman travelling around the world and writes a mini-"blog" on the page called something like "A date in every country". So basically she uses various date apps and sets up dates and goes on them - using caution of course. She has met expats or locals who show her around and do some fun unique things.

OP, it appears that you will be reentering the dating pool soon. If so, finding someone to flirt with while out of town would be fun. Gently ask around (i.e., ask co-workers, in-town friends, etc.) where it would be fun to hang out and do it.

You can prepare for a ONS (e.g., stock up on protection) without committing to anything other than having fun unless someone special (or fun) shows up.

It usually isn't hard to find someone to pick up and have sex with is if all you want is sex with a stranger. But the reality of that for many of us isn't as appealing as it sounds. Finding someone you are actually attracted to is the first battle and then enjoying sex with a random stranger in your hotel room and the aftermath of that isn't always all that hot.

But if you just want sex, you can very easily get it. But be aware the random guy in the bar picking you up may well be married and has a wife at home feeling how you felt.
