Did your child email the AO to ask? Similar predicament here, my kid is trying to determine whether to submit ACT score or not. Overall score is 50th percentile, with very high Reading and English and good Science but Math is just below 25th percentile. Humanities major. I'm just leery beacuse if she emails and they say do not submit, it is now documented that she received those scores, even if not in the application.
Asked in person. But if the scores are around 25th percentile, I don’t see any harm in asking via email, even if email ends up in review file. Shows kid can do work but won’t lower school average. Win-win.

I think it’s pretty much a given that at this point this far out of Covid most

What kind of school is your kid coming from, and what is the average SAT at that school? Mine is at a city public school where the average SAT is less that 1100. In that case, I'd probably submit a 1380, because it's much higher than the HS average.

Depends on the rest of the profile. If uniformly strong, I probably wouldn’t submit to schools where it’s below the 25%ile.

Sheesh.
They are mostly around 50% or lower. For example Bates: 25% SAT is 1370 with a total of only 25% of enrolled first-years submitting scores. But another the 25% was 1390 with 55% of enrolled first-years submitting scores.

Help me out, hive! My kid scored 1380 on SATs. She is applying to a bunch of SLACs where the score is just at or under their 25th percentile. School counselor says to submit scores because kid wants to be a humanities major and verbal score is high (740). Other advice I have read says not to submit. WHat do you think??
