Had a restless night too. My election anxiety has really been amping up over the past few days.

+1

Me too.
But have to admit…that stuff is really strong.

I live in an apartment building & for some odd/unexplained reason - the building fire 🔥 alarms 🚨 went off in the middle of the night a few nights ago!
There was no fire….the alarms were malfunctioning!

So many people had their slumber disturbed > I felt bad for those that had to get up early to work the next day….

Will plain old magnesium help? I definitely have some in my medicine cabinet.

Same! It amazes me that people post when they have had one bad night of sleep. I’ve been an insomniac on and off my whole life. My 40s have been particularly bad, even with magnesium and melatonin and all the other things I’ve tried.

Op, I bet you’re not as tired as you think you’ll be. Don’t make it a mind game, find your energy and just keep going. If you sleep well generally then this won’t be such a huge energy deal in your life.

I got out of bed at 5:30 am after tossing and turning. Made myself some eggs and coffee.

Ugh it will be a long day!
