I think it’s brave of her to share her story and help others avoid making the same mistakes. She made a colossally bad decision. I’m sympathetic. It’s easy to say she’s just stupid. But many people are distrustful of our medical system for valid reasons, and then they can become highly susceptible to people peddling “alternatives” and it’s really sad. I really try not to judge. I have experienced bad doctors and unnecessary treatments enough times that I can understand why some people lose trust entirely. Unfortunately, flawed system or not, you cannot mess around with cancer. She is paying a very high price.

I don’t know who this is, but she doesn’t sound very smart. I just feel sorry for those who do know her and care about her.

I think they didn’t catch hers very early. No one was talking about anal cancer back then.

I heard they were making her pay back the medical bills over a 20-year period. Apparently a lot of insurance companies and jurisdictions are refusing to pick up tabs for unvaccinated people. They are driving everyone’s costs up and companies and governments are fighting back.

Her body, her choice. Her death will be testimony that it’s a stupid choice.

Woo takes a lot of people in. It's really sad.

When I had pre-eclampsia and had to be hospitalized for a week before I could deliver my baby I had some woman on my birth board telling me if I just ate the Brewer's Diet all would be well. She was having a "home birth" in a hotel room somewhere.

Yes, but he was rich enough to bribe his way onto the transplant list.

Not sure why this infuriates you. It's helpful that she is talking about this and saying she should have done things differently. The facts also speak for themselves. She is helping women avoid the path she took.

I think you mean Ananda Lewis, OP. She was a former MTV VJ.

Have trouble with it? No. She's a former celebrity-ish person with a misguided and unscientific take on healthcare. I wish she would have pursued treatment just like I wish anyone would pursue medical treatment to increase their changes of survival. But alas, lots of people do this. It's nuts and hard to understand, but is likely motivated by delusion, religion, or lack of understanding about science. 999 out of 1000 will die because of not treating this type of cancer in this case.

What trouble is there to have with her? She’s made a terrible choice and she is going to pay the price. Are you looking for more?

Should anyone know who that is? Or care? There are a lot of nut jobs out there.
