+1. We got the final report a week or so later.

It should be included. For both my kids the session going over the report was at least an hour long.

This is becoming more common in the big name groups. Total money grab and feels unethical to me. I'd look into other testers too before committing to this one. Lots of great and ethical testers out there.

Yes, I was sent a draft and had the opportunity to comment on it and to meet about it. Weirdly enough, I was able to get them to add an additional diagnosis.

+1 same

This is how all of our evaluations have gone.

We have had several and only met before the report. I did have some email exchange after to clarify a few things once I saw the report.

You should ask for a meeting. It is typically included in the fee. They owe you an in person explanation.

We only met before the report was issued.

When we had an evaluation at Stixrud, we met after they had finished the testing and had the results to go over them and then got the written report several weeks later. It was nice because we were able to discuss what should be highlighted in the report for the school.

That's strange. I would look elsewhere.

Yes - that should be included. Ask specifically for that - it might not be listed on the fee schedule, but she should go through the report with you.

Is it common to not have a meeting with the neuropsychologist who did the testing in order to discuss the report? We met with one whom we liked and think will have a good rapport with our child, but her fee does not include time to review the report. There is a parent conference that takes place after the testing but before the report is provided, so she can include anything that comes up during the parent conference in the report. I thought most testers would meet with the parents to go through the actual report?
