Oh really? I was told it is a starting dose for the mounjaro compound. It’s 8 on the pen if that makes sense. Maybe that’s why I responded that way. Very low side effects. Mild nausea first day.
Monjauro isn’t semiglutide. And if you are taking a compound of semiglutide you can’t be sure what is in it. So your 2.5 and 8 on the pen doesn’t make sense to people who are using Ozempic, Wegovy or Mounjaro which is tirzepatide not semiglutide.

That said … if you lost that much weight that quickly, I think your focus really needs to be on building up muscle and nutrients right now!
Anonymous wrote:That’s a big BS they sell us. They say 2.5 is starter does because they want you at 12.5 or 15!!!! I started at 2.5 and lost 15 lbs in 2 mos. Went up to 3 because it had stalled very briefly and I am back on track. 2.5 is definitely clinical enough and you don’t really get side effects!!!! Stay there and lost more if you want to. Or taper down with your physician’s help!!! I am going to stay at 3 until I hit goal weight (started at 170, goal is 140. Current weight is 152) then taper down gradually. My BMI and A1C were abysmal. So happy to have started this amazing therapy!!
Some people think it’s easier to taper off and not regain if you just gained weight bc of kids life etc. versus those who actually suffer from
Obesity. I was never overweight until after our second child and haven’t been able to budge this weight for 10 years!!!
