Aventino is the closest thing we have to a buzzy city restaurant in Bethesda.

Olazzo is decent, not particularly special occasion-y but solid for veg and non veg. I haven’t been to Aventino yet but that’s a good suggestion.

It’s fine. Certainly ok for a regular meal here or there but not outstanding or special occasion-y.

+1. I would not go to either of these if you have non-vegetarians in the group. I think if someone invited me to dinner at one of these I’d politely decline.

Aventino is good and they always have a few vegetarian items. I’d check the menu beforehand to make sure the vegetarian in the group likes the options, though. Woodmont Grill, Barrel and Crow, and Raku are also all good. I’ve heard that Raku was recently renovated, but haven’t been since before that happened. The food is great, though!
