Dry idea, 72 hours. But you may need to disinfect your pits in case some bacteria are really lodged in there. I would do that with alcohol or salicylic acid after a long shower where you wash your pits with soap and gently exfoliate them.

Are you making sure you are dry before applying deodorant? If you put it on while you’re still damp then it stops working faster

I have used Mitchum for around 25+ years. It doesn't stop flop sweat but is otherwise great.

I am female but use the regular in the dark green container, not the women's light green.

I started using Lume body wash on my armpits & feet (kept using my normal secret antiperspirant). Helped quite a bit. My teenager subsequently started using it, and she’s less stinky now, as well. It’s not cheap, but I think there are knock-offs now.

I switched to using Secret Clinical at night and then Dove spray in the morning.

Also, keep in mind that some people report phantom smells during peri. If you have someone you trust, ask them to weigh in on this!

Degree Ultra Clear - they claim 72 hours, but I've never tested that theory. It does work a full 24 hours

I am 49 and for the last few years have had this same issue. I have had some luck with switching my deodorant every few days. It seems like Secret/dove/mitchum will all work well for about a week but then they stop working.

Bathe more frequently, for starters. Deoderant is not going to help if you are sweating that much. You cannot mask hormonal sweat either--it's worse smelling than regular sweat.

Since menopause, my regular deodorant just doesn't make it from one AM shower to the next. Constantly waking up with BO - even on nights that don't have major sweats. Anyone notice a change and have to get new deodorant - any recommendations for what works?
