I had all four of my kids before I turned 30. My mom had me and my three siblings before she turned 30.

My now grown kids don't have children at all in their 30s.

Of my generation (60ish), most have parents who had their first child before 30. My college educated parents had me at 22.

Most of my friends of my age had their kids between 30-45.

No idea. But my phone older sister is.

Early Gen X, oldest kid, and I am 26 years younger than my parents. Virtually every one of my age-cohort friends has or had parents exactly the same age. In both high school and college I had several classmates whose parents had been my parents' classmates. The few with significantly older parents were definitely outliers.

Tons of people. My mom had me at 29 and that was entirely normal for the time period.

So Gen X first or second born is likely to have parents who had them between 22-29 if they were college educated.
