Yeah, paying for assembly was not the issue. It had dozens of pieces.

Wayfair and Amazon literally have the same stuff. If I want something from either I reverse image search and find the better price. I generally have no problem with the stuff I buy there (as a PP said, you've gotta be selective and look at reviews) but that's also because I take it for what it is. I'm not expecting fancy furniture.

Our ikea stuff has held up way better than stuff we bought from Pottery barn and Macy's....

I was always under the impression that Wayfair was cheap furniture.

Sigh. It’s just so cheap looking. Granted, it wasn’t pricey but if I’d spend 500 more I could have found a piece of real furniture, and now I have something ready for a landfill in a year or two.

When you switch out, what do you do with the old furniture?

I do like Wayfair. But I also like to change out my furniture. IME, it’s really only good for people like me or people who have a small furniture budget. Sorry you’re disappointed.
