In our area they have more than one travel team per grade. We’re in the Northeast. Three girl travel teams in her 7th grade. Plus the best ones are playing middle school basketball so there is plenty of room. We should try travel for her, I guess she’s ready. Thanks
It isn't the worst idea to play both with travel taking precedence over rec if there is a conflict. She's at the age that playing time is important. Also, she can build confidence playing giant rec players and take that into travel.
