Blair’s Facebook page which used to be active and informative is completely gone

Nothing particularly important is different though

What other method is there other than email?

New 9th grade parent so no idea what was communicated in the FB group, but there is a very active presence on Instagram (official school account as well as SGA account). Maybe they moved from FB to IG?

As seems to be trend at many HSs. Too bad because not all parents used FB, or use IG.

Some Magnet parents wanted to stop the email group and switch to facebook a number of years ago. It was amazing how many parents either did not have FB at all or never checked it. I enjoy seeing that the email group still exists even though my child is long gone. I think there might be a FB group too which is fine.

I'm a magnet parent and was never even told about a Facebook group.

My kid is several years out. It may no longer exist. I do not have an account so I never saw it

It wasn’t a Facebook group, it was a Facebook page. And no they didn’t move from Facebook to Instagram, they had both.

+1 Communication is still good, various back-to-school events have run as smoothly as usual. Yates might be slightly less visible than Johnson, but it's also possible I'm seeing him and not tracking him amongst all the other Gen X white dads.

How is it going with new Principal?
Any new changes?
Will Blair student population decrease within next year or so?
