Kids are people so it doesn't actually matter if you think they are worse or not. Dogs are animals. It doesn't matter if you like them more than people -- we live in a society where humans have rights that dogs do not have and that is not going to change.

Also: you were once a child but you have never and will never be a dog.

I was getting ready to walk into Starbucks the other day and changed my mind when I saw a woman walking her large dog inside. No thanks.

I am a HUGE dog lover (have two myself) and agree with you, OP.

I keep seeing them at Costco, which is the last freaking place in the world that needs additional beings taking up space. Service dog my *ss.

Same op same. I walk outside and it stinks of dog urine and poop. Apartments should have never allowed dogs! It's nasty!

People who bring their dog into the grocery store that's also nasty not service dogs just regular dogs.

A restaurant and a store isn't everywhere.

I'll play, though. If the dogs were actually aggressive, you could have said something to management. Did you? Did you say anything at all?

I’m so sick of people like you and your f g complaining. Report the grocery store to the health dept, that is against the law. Move tables at the restaurant and tell the manager why. Perhaps they’ll be proactive after the complaint and better accommodate dog owners in the future so as not to irritate other patrons.

H and I had a date night this weekend at our favorite restaurant. We sat on the patio outside. Two other tables brought their dogs, who literally barked and lunged at each other the entire evening.

One of the dogs was right next to us and kept hitting H’s leg. The owner super passive aggressively kept saying loudly to his date “I think that couple is mad I have my dog here”.

The next day I went to the grocery store and two people had dogs. And they weren’t service dogs. One was massive and kept blocking the entire aisle. Owner was clueless.

If you’re one of those people who needs to take your dog everywhere, why?
