I'd avoid Woodlawn, too, and the middle and high schools aren't great, but for elementary schools Waples Mill and Hollin Meadows are nearby and pretty nice.
Waples Mill is not nearby.

We do not have children yet but plan to shortly and will likely be in this home for ten years or so. Does anyone have firsthand experience with this school or pyramid?
Additionally, aside from private, are there any alternate public schools available?
TIA!
