Am I the only one still so sad about the death of Gavin Creel? He was just so talented and, based on all the obits and tributes, such an amazing human. I was lucky enough to see him multiple times in musicals (he was the wolf/prince in Into the Woods for people who saw the recent production on Broadway or at the Kennedy Center). He was also in Eloise at Christmas time.
He is also pretty much exactly my age and died of a rare cancer two months after being diagnosed. I know people get killed in car accidents, die from heart attacks, get diagnosed with ALS or pancreatic cancer - but still dying two months after a cancer diagnoses is just so fast. I keep watching this video of him performing at a fundraiser with other Broadway stars (
