Then, go to the Mall, take more photos like the one where you're holding the Washington Monument in your hand. Pick a good museum for more photos. National Gallery of Art or Botanic Gardens have some stunning backdrops, maybe Air and Space if the girls are more STEM-oriented.
Eat lunch at someplace that feels DC fancy like Ebbitt Grill or Le Diplomate. Pick very photogenic food (this is NOT the time to order the chili. Petit fours and glam sandwiches only!!). Walk around Capitol Hill, preferably in a spot with some nice falling leaves and brick sidewalks, holding a latte in hand. Ask the homeless to move out the doorways and take some selfies like you live there. Done!
