Abandon Harris put out a statement this week signed by many influential Muslim American leaders. They are encouraging US muslims to vote third party.

Here is their statement:

I have a thought.

I am also Muslim.

So you are watching Israel killing people in Gaza, attacking Lebanon, and maybe Iran.

This is under the weakness of Harris/Biden in stopping Israel and also their weakness in deterring the escalation of the fighting there.

Maybe if you had a strong leader who could deter Israel or maybe deter Iran from sending their proxy fighters into attacking Israel, the Middle east might be safer?

How much war was there from 2016-2020? Just something to think about.

I guess you forgot the part where Trump said he is fine for Israel to push Palestinians into the sea so his son in law could develop the beachfront property in Gaza?

Foreign policy is one thing, but not voting for someone because their child converted to Judaism is nuts.
Glad for the Harris vote, but it’s still nuts.

This is the most illogical crap I’ve ever read.

Trump is constantly talking about how much he loves Bibi.

Stop thinking presidents can just magically make foreign countries do things.

The world doesn’t operate that way.

The Uncommitted Movement won't endorse anyone, but are implying that followers should vote for Harris. They said that a Trump presidency would be catastrophic, but voting 3rd party would inadvertently help elect Trump.

Harris at least talks about peace, about a two state solution and about humanitarian aid to Gaza.

The GOP supports none of these things.

The Gaza issue transcends any US political party ie both red and blue take the same actions in Gaza - so I put that issue aside in my choice. I believe in rule of law, democracy, women’s right to choose and basic decency. For that reason, I would vote for Harris.

I will vote for Harris! Not happy with the Middle East situation. But Trump is sold out to the dictators and Netanyahu is the mad dictator.

Neither Trump nor Harris.

Harris is part of this administration that is enabling the horror in Gaza and Lebanon. Trump is crazy and hates Palestinians so much, he uses the word as an insult.

I haven't yet decided on who to vote for instead.

OP you should sit out this election and voice your political complaints online or social media.

If you think Trump is better for Muslim interests in the Middle East, you’re delusional.

Harris, definitely.

I would have voted for Harris but the war in the Middle East and the devastation of Gaza is making that less likely. If I had a palatable nominee from the GOP that wasn't actively stoking the fires of racism, I would have voted RED.

Now I don't know what to do!
