I don't know but just FYI my kid got waitlisted for the Wheaton engineering magnet and instead he is in the academy and honestly he seems to have taken nearly all of the same or similar classes as his friends in the magnet. Except for a couple classes he chose not to take because he wanted to take something else. So just know that the consolation prize of the academy is pretty similar so don't worry too much. He is still on track to take multivariable calc senior year, etc.

Since folks are asking about MAP scores needed for magnets, was wondering about Wheaton. I know it's probably a little lower threshold than the Blair math magnet, but not sure if a kid at say 90th percentile would have a chance.
