+1 We donated $1K last year, but might try to up it a little this year. Kid has received a $2K merit and I think she is getting a wonderful education.

Um, no. Do not reward the school for not dealing with bullying. Wtf?

It's no so much the amount you give that matters; rather, it's that you contributed at all that does. Schools like to herald that a certain percentage of the school parents have donated to the annual fund. This percentage of participation, or so the schools suggest, reflects the parents' investment in the school.

It's our first year and we are a FA family. I think we're going to give $100. This time of year is tight for us, so that's likely the max we can give.

I set up a recurring donation of $75 monthly. DC is at a Catholic school and received some merit aid so we are fortunate to be able to pay some of that forward via Annual Fund contributions.

$100 is fine unless you feel compelled to give more.

It’s our first year at a large school, expats, and I’ve no idea how much to donate to this. The card clicks to a suggested $350 but then you can click to type in another amount. What to do!
