They're mild hybrids, so the gas mileage isn't as good as a true hybrid - barely better than a regular gas engine. I've had my 2023 for almost 2 years without any problems so far.

The 2024 Volvo XC60 drops the front-wheel-drive version of the B5 powertrain, leaving only all-wheel-drive versions. Last year's more powerful B6 powertrain has also been discontinued. Volvo swapped around some exterior paint colors, dropping a black paint and adding a gray option instead. An air purifier is now standard on Plus and Ultimate trims, while the Ultimate trim also gets laminated windows as well as a new 20-inch wheel option. The top-spec Ultimate trim can also be ordered with a new Black Edition appearance package which features blacked-out exterior trim, unique 21-inch wheels, and Onyx Black paint.

I am looking to buy a recent certified preowned Volvo XC-60 and have 2 questions.
Any color on recent the differences between recent model years? I notice that in 2023 they transitioned from momentum/inscription package names to core/plus.
My local dealer has a 2024 Plus with 20,000 miles at an attractive price; since its pretty the new warranty will last a while. I have been in conversation with the sales rep. about this specific car since before the hurricane but it was coming from points south and has been delayed in transit. Any thoughts on if i should pull the plug on my interest in this car given possible weather-related issues?
