Some of these companies are packing a ton of THC into these drinks and edibles so educate yourself on dosing levels. THC from edibles takes longer to clear, so much longer to come down if you overdo it. Some THC products are also labeled to look like candy so it's very important you store them carefully away from children who may not be able to tell the difference.
Be an informed consumer. Some of these THC variants of delta 9 THC that are chemically created and there are concerns that they aren't sufficiently removing the catalysts from the final products. Be aware of where you're getting your products from and how strict they are with safety. The FDA doesn't regulate these at all, as they're federally unlawful products at this time.

Haven't tried better than booze yet, but I've tried a bunch of different thc cocktails and my favorite is drinkcann.com (they ship to VA). Really love the orange cardamom and grapefruit rosemary flavors.
I just saw that drinkcann also sells a small pouch that can be poured into any drink. Great to take along on a night out.
You have no idea what you're doing, and they're not required to be honest with you.
1) it says 2mg thc and 4mg cbd 'hemp-derived distillate'. It's not required to be either of those things, and multiple studies have shown that CBD is often far less than advertised, and THC far higher.
2) "It can take 10-15 minutes for the effects of Cann to kick in. You can expect it to last for 45 minutes, which can vary by the drinker." I've done a lot of drugs, including medical cannabis for years, in a variety of forms. There are very few (m)edibles that will kick in that fast, and exactly zero that are such a short duration. Know your drugs: look up how THC is metabolized in your body before using this or any other substance, especially in public.
3) Distillates don't contain the terpene profiles present in whole-plant cannabis. Why is this important? Because your body has an endocannabinoid system that processes this substance very differently if you just crank up the THC/CBD and eliminate the CNB, CBG, etc. that are usually present to help moderate your response.
Cannabis culture is insidious because everyone thinks "it's just weed". It's really not. You can do a lot of damage to your mental health without having the outwardly-obvious consequences that come with booze and 'harder drugs'.
It's not "safe". It's a drug. So if you're going to use it, you need to know your drugs. And that's really hard to do because the capitalist part of it is WAY ahead of the research/science part (which continues to be hamstrung by weed's status as a federally-scheduled drug).
I wish someone had warned me...

You can get the gummies but looking for the drinks. I’d like to have the social aspect of a drink wo the alcohol. It doesn’t appear you can have them shipped here. So I assume I can’t get them here, which sucks.
But just double checking.
The social aspect of a drink is being with people. THC is a drug. Why can't you hang out without drugs?
I'm not interested in your views on this. Thanks.
Enjoy your cross-addiction!
Maybe some THC would bring you down a notch. You clearly need it.
No, I very much don't. But you won't understand that, or why (yet), so I wish you well on your journey.
Cute. You’re angry need to come on here and lecture other adults and have th least word days otherwise.
You're defensive (like most addicts are when confronted with their behavior), but that doesn't make me "angry" and I'm not "lecturing" you. I could've written you a novel and a half about the ills of THC. Instead, I wished you well. Twice.
Get a mirror and try laying off the substances for 6 months before you clap at me again, hunty.
