A good, and less expensive option, is the Team America camp at the Fairfax indoor Sportsplex.

My DS has attended a Golden Boot, Challenger and GMU soccer camp and he said the GMU camp was his favorite. Also, I know a couple people that went to the Arsenal and Real Madrid camps that did not have the best of experience. Those seem to be on the more expensive side of local day camps.

In VA, my kids have loved Dutch Soccer and Golden Boot.

Coerver not so much, though perhaps because it was unbearably hot the week they did it. Reported that coaches were meh, though perhaps that's also because it was unbearably hot.

Kids also need to really really like ball work for false 8. Two hours of dribbling can get monotonous

I don't think they offer full-day camps. They are great for skills clinics however.

Coerver is probably the best. Most camps are just babysitting.

Also, we liked Challenger International Camps hosted by fairfax county parks and Rec. They offer swimming after lunch each day. (Look for them in Jan/ Feb at Franconia Rec Center. )

Plus lots to do while you’re there waiting for your kids class to end.

VRSC's camps are good. My kids enjoyed them over the summer. They did a great job with the breaks on the extreme heat days and plenty of tents. There is also an indoor cafeteria as well.
