For ECNL RL, the North teams now play “some” teams from the South during the regular season. We only have our fall schedule but each team plays 1 or 2 teams from the South. My guess is they are trying to do something similar with Pre ECNL.

I noticed that as well. Not sure how that makes sense since there will be many teams we don't play over the year.
