I know pre-COVID (and pre-major equity push), the CES were the tippy top of the student population — truly gifted students identified through COGaT instead of MAP.
I’m curious how the schools are now with the more equity based criteria, particularly parents who’ve had kids in them both before and after the locally normed criteria. Has the content become slower because there are less advanced students? Is it still beneficial for truly gifted students?
