Thank you everyone! Looks like I will be bringing the rarely used crockpot up from the basement.

This. Stew meat with potatoes. Stewed sauerkraut with meat. Stewed whatever…. It’s easy to just keep on warm for whenever anyone is ready to eat.

Meatballs in sauce with air fryer french fries. You just reheat the meatballs and fry up a serving of fries for the later/earlier eaters. YUM.

Slow cooker or pressure cooker on keep warm mode. I’d make sweet potatoes, tomatoes chickpeas or wheat berries, beans, and potatoes.
OR diy spring rolls or sushi, just get everything prepped and leave rice in keep warm mode in rice cooker

We have some casseroles in rotation for nights like these - chicken enchiladas, lasagna, chicken noodle casserole. Easy to keep warm at a low setting or reheat individual portions.

Pulled pork or pulled chicken, kept warm in a crock pot on the warm setting. Rolls and coleslaw on the side.

Meatballs in sauce kept warm in a crock pot. Have either hoagie rolls or spaghetti that each person can heat up and add their meatballs. Salad on the side.

Also things that can be eaten cold or room temperature - pasta salad, cold cuts with rolls and sliced veggies, poke bowls.

I have this problem 4 nights a week. Stir fries and lo meins are good. Chicken cutlets. Meatloaf. No sheet pan meals. Really it’s just the vegetables that don’t come out as well when reheated. So lots of salads instead for the later folks.

Meat sauce and pasta. Less than a half hour to cook, then easy to reheat.

This fall there is one night each week where one of my kids needs to eat dinner around 5pm, the other not until close to 9pm, and dh and I somewhere in between.

I’d appreciate suggestions for dinners that can be served in such a time window, or can be easily reheated for the 9pm eater.

I already have chili/soups in rotation so would appreciate other ideas. Thanks!
